hey there
in response to this solution nearly setting a locked password, y'all suggested """"Extras > Options > Security > Personal password"""" i tin not find the menu path in the extras menu.
I take found a security tab in the the preferences menu and accept set a password simply on each luanch of team viewer the ID remains the same but the four digit numerical password changes how do I make sure each computer keeps the same loging info.
I take ready an account, added a computer / device and volition add a farther i or two.
will this insure that I dont need to worry near the 4 digit laissez passer word changing ?

The 4-digit password (or however many digits you cull information technology to be) is merely analternative manner of logging in, if youhaven't set a countersign for a specific motorcar.
For instance, if you remote a PC at work, and you lot have pre-prepare the password "password" for it, then yous tin either remote-in with the countersign "password", or whatever the changing multi-digit code presented on-screen is.
Simply ... don't apply "password" as your password

Tried that on a pc but didnt work - each launch information technology yet required a unique password.

How-do-you-do Raven,
Thanks for posting the steps required to set a permanent countersign. I accept followed the steps, however:
1. The countersign is not being saved, even though I clicked OK at the bottom of the Security page after changing information technology.
ii. Only the randomly generated ID works.
Does the prisoner of war change every time? I left a session open on a computer I need to access, but I cannot login with current pw.
Give thanks y'all for the assist.

Its 2022 it looks like unattended remote access is just not possible with Teamviewer
I am struggling to get unattended remote admission working on :
- Macbook Air - host
- macbook Pro - guest
---
I see above says :
"Extras > Options > Security > Personal password".
But, there is no such setting in the configurations on a Mac version of Teamviewer.
Can anyone explain how to prepare the countersign or avert a password for computers that are in the allowed list and wish to gain unattended access.
